Useful Resources (On Going Project)

In time I hope this list will grow.

Just post a link of use to our board.

I may re-format so this stick topic appears more like a list that one can easily go down and inspect.

When you go to a site, take your time.

Here is the first link I have received: Sierra Exercise Equipment

More to follow.  Enjoy!

Wow, that stuff looks absolutely incredible!
Not cheap though, you probably need at least 3 aside, $78, p&p...
But still tempting, very impressive stuff, great grip, no knot or plug, easy grip, and then most and for all that 10-12x resting length, this should give far more flexibility then other strands. Wonder if their action is reasonably linear?

Quite amazing that a 10" band can stretch so much

Spear Gun Tubing For Greater Resistance

I recently ordered some heavy duty spear gun tubing from Reef Scuba Accessories. When you go to the link you will need to scroll down a bit to get to the sizes of spear gun tubing. If you have any questions call or e-mail Mike. His personal e-mail is [email protected]  Phone numbers for USA and international use you can get from the site.

Note: When ordering, under Qty (quantity) write the number of feet you are ordering.

Sample pack of rubber tubing

If you contact Theraband and ask them nicely, they will send you a free sample pack of all the different rubber cables they sell. The good part is that the samples are just the right length to use in your workouts!

I use the flat bands from Walmart and I like them much better than tubing. I don't need handles. I can just grip them anyplace. One thing though, I just bought another set and this one is made out of a  more slippery elastic material than the old ones. I can still grip it without winding it around my hands, but the old ones were easier to grip, stickier.

Re: New Band Handle Product I found.

Hahah they are notoriously expensive, I'm sure if you wanted an extra thick handle you could modify your own or politely and enthusiastically ask Shen to make you one for half that price (and less than 8lbs to ship).

It's a surprisingly rare idea, though.
