Re: Spear Gun Tubing For Greater Resistance

Hi Shenandoah1. First, thank you for the other site. I appreciate it.

I only compared Reef Scuba Accessories and Master-Carr on the following measurements:

Inner Diameter = 1/8"; Wall Thickness 5/16".

Master-Carr is priced at $3.35 per foot, up to 24 feet. However, if you get 25 feet or more the price comes down to $2.52 per foot.

Reef Scuba Accessories is priced at $2.75 per foot. This is from 5 to 25 feet.

Perhaps someone would look over all the sizes and make a report for our board. Also it would be good to get feedback on customer service experiences in dealing with the above mentioned companies.

Take good care and thanks again.
It's great having choices!

Re: Useful Resources (On Going Project)

Okay, first and foremost, the sandowplus.co.uk site:

The Danks System of Physical Culture

The Chest Expander for Abounding Heath & Building Better Bodies

Joe Bonomo's Power-Plus Cable Course

Noe's Graduated Xercisors

York Course No. 10 - Chest Expander System (scroll down on page)

Bob Hoffman Big Arms Book - Cables In Arm Development (Chapter 14)

The Herk U. Lees Bodybuilding System (contains a few interesting cable/dumbbell exercises for the arms)

The Sandow Developer (in French, but the drawings of the exercises are self-explanatory)

Also:

Fatman's Guide to Cable Training 2 (which is pretty much the summary of the above materials, available as a free download)

Re: Useful Resources (On Going Project)

elastikon is not bad. if you are tall, its not too long. but, there are a big advantage. elastikon build expanders with different resistance. the rubers have the same length! so you can mix different rubers in one expander to set the resistance exectly. mostly the jump from 3 to 4 cables or so one is not easy, especialy at higher pressure!
